Aerli Open Beta is live - what we’re trying to learn

Aerli has just entered public open beta on Android. The current build includes 6 worlds and 120 levels built around one core idea: every paper plane has a fixed direction, and the player has to find the correct launch order without blocking the board. As the game progresses, new mechanics such as locks, keys, formations and portals make the puzzles increasingly complex. During this beta we’re especially looking at:

• whether the mechanics are understandable without excessive explanation;
• where the difficulty starts becoming interesting rather than frustrating;
• how far new players progress;
• whether players return after their first session. We’ve already started receiving feedback from early players and will use it to shape the next iteration. Aerli is currently available on Google Play as an open beta.
