Building My First Mobile Game
I never planned to build a mobile game, but that changed when I started working on Ball Sort Master.
The idea was simple: create a relaxing ball-sorting puzzle that's easy to learn but challenging to master. I started with the core mechanic, then built the levels, animations, sounds, UI, and everything needed to turn the prototype into a real game.
One of the biggest challenges was level design. Ball Sort Master now has 2,000+ handcrafted levels, with difficulty gradually increasing as you play.
I also wanted the game to stay simple: smooth controls, minimal UI, and offline gameplay.
Publishing it on Google Play was a completely different experience from building a project. It taught me about testing, store listings, updates, feedback, and most importantly, shipping.
Ball Sort Master is now the first game from SunShine Studios, but the journey doesn't stop here. I'm continuing to improve it, add new content, and learn from every update.
The biggest lesson?
Don't wait for perfect. Build it, polish it, ship it, and keep improving.
