Why did I decide to build Barah Gashta?

I wanted to take a traditional Indian board game that many of us grew up playing and turn it into a modern multiplayer game.

What started as a simple board-game prototype slowly turned into a much bigger project — custom art, animations, multiplayer, UI, player profiles, rewards, testing and finally publishing it.

In this series, I'll share what worked, what didn't, and everything I learned while building and launching Barah Gashta as an indie developer.
