Two Games, One Real Dog: The Story Behind Firu Firu Games (Now Live on iOS & Android!)

I'm a metallurgical engineer by day and a solo indie game developer by night from Turkey. Today, I'm thrilled to share Firu Firu Games — a cozy casual arcade game hub inspired by my real-life Cocker Spaniel, Firu!

🐾 The Concept: Two Games in One Connected World

Instead of building a single mini-game, I wanted to create a connected arcade world where player progress carries over. Firu Firu Games currently features two distinct arcade experiences:

🚀 Paw Jump: An endless vertical platformer where players climb through dynamic worlds (from sunny pirate shores to atmospheric twilight skies and deep space), dodging hazards, using power-ups like rockets and magnets, and chasing high scores.
💥 Bubble Paws: A classic arcade bubble-breaker reimagined with 50 handcrafted levels across 5 unique environments, featuring multi-laser power-ups, combos, and boss battles (including a mischievous cat named Zeytin!).

🏡 Shared Progression & Evolution

Everything connects back to Firu's Cabin. As you play both games:

Firu evolves through 5 distinct visual stages (from a tiny pup all the way to an epic captain).
You unlock custom skins (Cyberpunk, Cowboy, Beach, and more).
You upgrade and decorate Firu's personal cabin.

🛠️ What's New in the Latest Update?

Based on initial player feedback, I realized that "people will just figure it out" wasn't a great onboarding plan! The latest update brings:

Interactive Tutorials: Quick, clear walkthroughs for both Paw Jump and Bubble Paws so new players understand mechanics instantly.
Tighter Controls: Smoother jump physics and responsive touch feedback.
Zero Predatory Ads: Clean, player-friendly experience with an optional one-time "Remove Ads" lifetime unlock.
