What you see before releasing Corpse Explosion
A corpse in the middle of a fight can be worth more as a recruit than as a blast. I wanted players to see which bodies they were about to use before lifting their thumb.
In Necromancer: Undead Legion RPG, hold and drag the Corpse Explosion button to aim. As you move your thumb, the preview marks the corpses in range and shows the area each explosion can cover. Releasing over the battlefield attempts the cast. If you change your mind, drag back to the skill button and release to cancel.
Why preview the corpses themselves?
A circle at your aiming point only tells you where you're aiming. The blast starts at the bodies. If two lie on opposite sides of a pack, seeing both blast areas tells you something a single circle can't. You can adjust your aim, or cancel and save an eligible corpse to raise as an ally.
That is one of the small choices I'm building the fights around. You move, attack and teleport directly while your legion fights beside you.

The image is real development gameplay. The HUD was hidden and the camera and lighting were adjusted for the trailer. The targeting interface described above is visible during play.
I'm developing the game solo at Ancoach Studio for Android and iOS. It's a paid RPG still in development. The official English guide explains the combat and links to Android pre-registration and iOS pre-order where available.
