Campaign readiness in Ten Sultans: why troops alone are not enough
I am the developer of Ten Sultans: Ottoman Chronicle. Here is a closer look at the campaign loop in the current 1.0.2 release.
Your capital produces akçe, including income while the game is closed. That creates two competing uses for your treasury: develop the city further, or recruit the army for the next campaign. A campaign needs both its required army and sustained treasury income. Reaching the troop requirement alone is therefore not the whole preparation.
For a first session, check the next campaign requirements before spending all your akçe on recruitment. If the income requirement is still unmet, return to the city and work on its production. This is the connection between the economy and army screens.
The chronicle follows ten rulers from Osman Gazi to Suleiman. Completing a reign passes the throne to the next ruler, with permanent dynasty talents carrying forward. The current release contains 49 historical campaigns and five optional Deeds, each ending in its own small game and keepsake.
Ten Sultans is available in English and Turkish on Android, iPhone and iPad. It is free to play, with optional rewarded ads and no in-app purchases. The store buttons on this game page lead to the released versions.
