Improving HopKiro’s In-Game Economy
Now that HopKiro is released, I'm focusing on improving one of the most important parts of the game: the in-game economy.
My goal is to make progression feel more rewarding while keeping the game fair and enjoyable for players who don't want to spend money.
I'm currently reviewing how players earn and use Coins and Gems, as well as how Jokers and other rewards fit into the overall progression. I want every reward to feel useful and give players meaningful choices instead of simply adding more currencies or items.
I'm also working on improving the balance between rewards earned through gameplay, optional rewarded ads, and premium purchases. The goal isn't to push players toward spending — it's to build an economy where playing, progressing, and earning rewards feels satisfying on its own.
This will be an ongoing process, and I'll continue adjusting the economy as I collect more player feedback and gameplay data.
HopKiro is only at the beginning of its journey, and there is a lot more I want to improve. 🎲
