Chiby.io: New drawing game & Quality of Life Improvements

In Chiby.io we have added a brand new game and improving existing ones based on YOUR feedbacks!

🎨New Game: Draw It!

Everyone receives a secret word and draws at the same time. Once the drawings are finished, they’re revealed one by one, and everyone races to guess what everyone else drew.

The faster you guess correctly, the more points you score!

Available Modes

🖼️ Guess the Drawing The classic mode. Draw your word and guess everyone else’s.

🙈 Blind Draw You can’t see what you’re drawing while you draw. Expect absolute chaos.

⚔️ Art Battle Everyone receives the same prompt, gets longer (or even unlimited) time to draw, then everyone votes for their favourite artwork.

You can freely mix these modes together to create your own experience.

Draw It is currently in Beta, so if you have ideas or find anything that could be improved, I’d love to hear your feedback!

QOL Updates

🕵️ Impostor

• Added brand new themes.
• When votes end in a tie, the room host now decides who gets eliminated.
• Better handling of tied scores on the leaderboard.

• Added a brand new NSFW Deck with 78 adults-only questions (also available in Italian 🇮🇹).
• Added a Change Decks button directly from the game card.
• Removed the annoying automatic scrolling while writing your explanation.
• Improved the selected answer indicator, making it much easier to see your choice.

🦛 Hippo

• Your submitted sentences now appear as handwritten notes on the leaderboard.
• Faster pacing at the beginning of each round. Shorter stories now move much quicker, while longer stories still have plenty of time.
• Various mobile UI improvements.

🌍 Improvements Across Chiby.io

• Players with the same score now correctly share the same placement.
• End-of-game flow has been improved:
  • “Play Again” has been replaced with “Back to Lobby”.
  • Players now receive better feedback while waiting for the host.
• Rejoining a room you’re already part of now takes you straight back into it instead of the homepage.
• Numerous UI improvements, wording tweaks and bug fixes throughout the platform.
