The part where you think you can draw a hexagon
CYDI is a small drawing game with a simple loop: you're shown a shape for a few seconds, then the canvas goes blank and you redraw it freehand. When you lift your finger, you get a score.
What I didn't expect is how differently people react to that number. A circle looks trivial until you actually try to draw one freehand. A hexagon feels easy — it's six straight lines — right up until you notice the last corner has drifted somewhere it shouldn't be.
The score has a way of making another attempt very tempting. You look at the result, think you can do better, and go again. That's really the whole game: a shape, a quick attempt, and the gap between what you meant to draw and what actually came out.
There are a few hundred shapes to work through, plus a new one each day for anyone who'd rather have one short challenge than a session. Getting to 100 is the part I still can't do reliably myself.
