Devlog: Diwali by day, brighter streets, smooth in your browser

A quick update, and a big thank you for the feedback here on PixelPicked.

Diwali by day and by night. During Diwali the game used to stay dark the whole time. Now every run starts in the sunshine, and when night falls the diyas and string lights glow, fireworks go up and you get a "DIWALI NIGHT!" cheer.

Brighter, more colourful streets. A player told us the lighting could be more vibrant, so the gali now has a stronger sun, a deep blue sky, clear air and richer colours. Nights are easier to see in too.

Sharp and smooth in your browser. The browser demo used to borrow the phone's graphics, so it looked soft and blocky on a computer screen. Now it draws at full resolution with smooth edges, and it watches its own frame rate: if your computer is slower, it lowers the graphics by itself so the run stays smooth. On phones it keeps the light settings that already run well.

New in the demo. It now has everything from the last few devlogs as well: the CHASERS tab with Sharma Aunty, Havaldar Pandey and Masterji, the settings gear and the chasers' new hands.

Give it a run and tell us how it plays. Next up: a street dog chaser.
