At the end waits the Rumor Chief Editor: headset, plum jacket, megaphone that never leaves the hand. The rumor grows with the crowd, so the boss regenerates for every minion still alive, and every 18 seconds a broadcast silences two of your agents.

Before every update, a test bot plays the first and last stage of each district at 1× and 2× speed with a strong squad. It cleared the final stage of all four older districts and lost at Hoax Village 12, every time. A longer route did not fix it. Swapping the enemy mix did not fix it. The bot only won once we cut the boss's health from 3,500 to 3,000, the same as the Market's final boss. Regenerating bosses punish slow squads much harder than raw health suggests, and that is the lesson we are taking into the next district.
