25 new agents in Headlines

The roster grows from 12 to 37. A few of the new faces: All 25 new agents, composed from their actual game sprites.

Mr. Tepung throws flour sacks, slows enemies with a flour cloud, and ends fights with Cassava Bombing. Bro Walkout knocks enemies back and walks out of the meeting with No Quorum: silence plus a shove. Mr. Kail hands out fish first (a heal) and casts the line later (an ultimate that pulls enemies in). Mr. Kucur earns battle budget every wave your base stays clean, then ends with Funding Downpour. Cassava Bombing, No Quorum, Cast the Line and Funding Downpour.

Every new kit is built only from effects the battle engine already supports, so the agents slot straight into the same balance and fairness checks as the original 12. Recruitment works the same, but with 37 agents in the pool the odds per agent change: legendary is still 5%, now shared by 10 legendaries instead of 5. Featured agents on the banner are unchanged.

Smaller app, faster updates

Until now every sprite shipped inside the app. From this update, only the original content is bundled. New agents and districts download the first time you need them (a portrait on the roster, an atlas when a battle loads), are checked, and are kept on your phone. That means new agents and districts can now arrive without an app update, as long as they use abilities the game already knows.

What's next

We are watching how Hoax Village plays outside the test bot, and we will tune enemy health and the boss if the final stages feel unfair. On the art side, the new agents still share projectiles and effects with the original roster, and giving them their own is on the list.
