1.0.9: one leaderboard for everyone, your own name, and a Blitz fix
Hi! I'm the solo developer of Pebblefield, a calm, no-guess Minesweeper where every tile you clear paints a pixel of a hidden picture. 1.0.9 is out on iPhone and Android, and it's the biggest update so far.
One leaderboard for everyone iPhone and Android players are now ranked together: the Blitz of the Day, the weekly board, all-time bests and every Pebble Dash mode. Your best scores and times from before the update are added the first time you open it, so nothing is lost.
Pick your name Tap your name at the top of the menu to choose one (3 to 16 letters), use your Game Center nickname on iPhone, or keep a made-up one. Names are filtered, and any name on a board can be reported.
A fresh menu Your player card sits at the top, with four big tiles for Blitz, Scene, Dash and Photo, and every screen has a back button. Follow Pebblefield on TikTok or Instagram from the menu for 50 Glints each.
New styles The Alpine Meadows set: meadow pebbles with the odd tiny edelweiss, a cowbell flag, a wildflower dig and a hot-air balloon celebration. The Christmas pack is in the shop until Christmas Eve.
Fixes
• Some days the Blitz board drew only half its tiles, with big blank blocks. Two paintings gave back nothing where they met the next one, and that stopped the drawing. Fixed, and the game now falls back safely if it ever happens again. • A finished picture always gets its full zoom-out moment now; stray taps can't skip it. • Gifts now show little pictures of what you got.
Coming next: hidden treasures Nine scenes, one in every land, hide a style you can't buy. Find one, paint it with a gold star, and it's yours.
Thanks for playing the demo here. If you enjoy it, the full game is free on iPhone and Android!
