Our story

WE WANT
TO FIX MOBILE
GAMES.

Mobile games do not have place for devlopers to build audience , and players to discover games worth playing. We are building that.

Why we exist

The app store
is not for
indie Games.

01 — The golden era

Doodle Jump. Angry Birds. Monument Valley. Mobile gaming was built by small teams with big ideas — weird, novel, original games nobody greenlit. Players fell in love.

02 — The slop era

Then discovery became ad spend. Stores filled with gacha loops, pay-to-win clones, and retention-optimised cash grabs. Great games still get made. They just finish in silence.

03 — The missing layer

PC has Steam wishlists and hype culture. Mobile has nothing. No audience building, no pre-launch momentum, no community just an upload form and a prayer to the algorithm.

Players deserve a feed of the most creative, ambitious games being made right now, not whatever spent the most on ads last Tuesday.

PixelPicked fixes that.

What we believe

Our values

Indie first

We are not a platform for publishers. We exist for solo developers and small studios who make original things and deserve a real shot at being discovered.

Community over algorithm

Every game that gets featured on PixelPicked is there because real players voted for it. We have no black-box recommendation engine. No ad slots. No pay-to-feature.

Momentum before launch

The best time to build an audience is before your game is finished. We built our entire platform around that single insight.

Quality, not quantity

Every game submitted to PixelPicked is manually reviewed. We'd rather have 500 great games than 50,000 clones. That standard is non-negotiable.

A note from the founders

"We built PixelPicked because we were angry. Angry that brilliant games kept disappearing. Angry that the best developers we knew were quitting. Angry that nobody was fixing it."

We are indie developers. We have shipped games, watched them sink, and played enough mobile slop to know exactly where the industry went wrong. PixelPicked is our answer to that.

We are building this deliberately and carefully. We have no interest in scaling into the same broken system we are trying to replace. Every game on this platform gets reviewed by a human. Every feature gets built with developers first, algorithms last.

If you are a developer who is tired of launching into silence — or a player who is tired of being served garbage this is being built for you. We would love to have you here from day one. The platform will always be free for everyone.
