PixelPicked for Players

Discover. Play.
Shape what
gets made.

Find upcoming mobile games before they launch. Play early browser builds. Give feedback that matters. Never miss a release you've been waiting for.

The App Store surfaces what makes money—not necessarily what is good. The charts are dominated by games with massive marketing budgets and endless monetization loops, while incredibly creative mobile games are quietly being built by teams who struggle to be seen. PixelPicked fixes this broken discovery. We are a curated pre-launch ecosystem where every game in the feed has been reviewed for quality before it appears. No asset flips. No generic clones. Just games worth your time. Here, you don't just wait for games to come out—you follow their development, test early playable builds right in your browser, and vote to push the best games to the top during their Launch Campaigns.

Common questions

Everything you
need to know.

How is PixelPicked different from the App Store?

The App Store ranks games by revenue and ad spend. PixelPicked focuses entirely on the pre-launch phase, ranking games by community votes during time-boxed Launch Campaigns. Every game is hand-reviewed for originality, meaning you will find incredible titles months before they appear on any mainstream chart.

Is PixelPicked free to use as a player?

PixelPicked is currently available at no cost during early access. Players can create an account, follow games, play Demo Builds, share feedback, and support their favorites. Long-term pricing is still being developed.

How do I apply for beta access to a game?

When a developer uploads an HTML build, an apply button appears on their game page. You tap it, the developer reviews your application, and if accepted, you can play the game directly in your browser on PixelPicked. No external app downloads are required.

What is a Launch Campaign?

When a game is ready to release, the developer triggers a Launch Campaign. The game enters a competitive 'Launch Week' where players upvote their favorite new releases. Top-voted games get featured on the platform and in our newsletter.

Will I get spammed with notifications?

No. Notifications are entirely opt-in per game. When you follow a game, you choose to receive updates. You will get an in-app bell alert or push notification when that specific developer posts a new devlog, opens a beta, or launches. You can unfollow at any time.

How does my feedback help developers?

Beyond the written reviews and 1-5 star ratings you submit after playtesting, just by playing a game on PixelPicked, you help the developer! Our system automatically tracks anonymous gameplay data—like which levels are too hard or if the game crashes—helping developers improve the experience before launch.

Great mobile games are being made right now. They just need an audience to discover and shape them. That is where you come in.

No algorithms. Just games.
