About this game
Euchre Player's Network is the trick-taking card game euchre, built for phones, with the full rules most home games play by.
How a hand works: four players in two teams. A card is turned up and each player in turn can order it up as trump or pass; if everyone passes, a second round lets anyone name a different suit. The right and left bowers (the jacks of the trump colour) outrank everything, players must follow suit, and the team that called trump needs three of five tricks - five for a march, or go alone for more.
Play against bots: practice tables fill the other three seats with bots. Pro bots sample the hidden hands and read the bidding. Bot games never touch your rating.
Play online: open a friendly table and empty seats are filled by bots, or start a ranked table that needs four people. Every table gets a four-letter code to share, tables can be friends-only, and there is a friends list with invites and a waiting-room chat. Ranked results feed an Elo rating and a leaderboard.
Rule options: games to 5, 7, 10 or 15 points, stick-the-dealer, loners on or off.
The room: a lamp-lit card room with a gold-rimmed felt table, drawn entirely in code. The layout adapts to tall phone screens, including the Galaxy Fold cover screen.
Browser demo: play euchre against bots right in the feed. It is an earlier browser version of the same game, so its table styling differs from the Android screenshots. Online multiplayer is in the Android app, which is in testing ahead of its Google Play release.
