Game Description

WordHush

Most word search apps pad the grid out — ten words floating in a sea of random letters, none of them crossing, so you scan the edges and you're done in ninety seconds. WordHush is the opposite: the generator packs words in and lets them share letters, so a single letter can belong to three different answers at once.

How difficulty scales:

  • Easy (8x8, 6 words): horizontal and vertical only
  • Medium (10x10, 10 words): diagonals come in
  • Hard (12x12, 12 words): reversed words start appearing
  • Expert (14x14, 15 words) and Extreme (16x16, 20 words): all eight directions

Features:

  • Themed word packs (animals, food, travel, music, and more) — not a generic dictionary
  • Daily puzzle, tuned to the difficulty you actually play — archive goes back to January 1st
  • Weekly challenge
  • Timer that records your time but never counts down — no way to lose a grid
  • Light and dark mode
  • Free, with an optional one-time purchase to remove ads
  • English, French, and Spanish
