Game Description

A scratch-card roguelike. You work the night counter of a House that sells luck sealed under foil. The quota is due by dawn. Miss it, and the House keeps you.

Every ticket is a grid of foil hiding cash, multipliers and skulls. Your thumb is the budget — stamina runs out long before the tickets do, so where you scratch matters as much as what's under it.

THE DECISION YOU MAKE ALL GAME • Scratch a cell to 20% and you can read the fragment — it doesn't count and it doesn't trigger • Scratch to 45% and it counts for real, skulls included • One revealed skull halves the payout. Two void the ticket • Cash out whenever you like. Only what you revealed pays

BUILD A RUN THAT BENDS THE ODDS • 40 charms across 5 slots: reroll skulls into coins, drift sevens toward corners, make a graze count as a hit • A warden calls every third night. Each one bends a rule you were leaning on. There are six of them • Seven ticket types, each with its own payout rule — match three, complete a crossword, climb a rising ladder, or reveal a single cell on an Offering and stop • Four single-use tools in three pockets: spray the foil to see straight through it, magnet a symbol sideways, sticker a skull into a seven • Nine nights, each with a quota due at dawn. Then endless, if you're still standing • Beat the House and the Seals open: seven stacked terms for the players who won, one added per win. Higher quotas, a skull on every ticket, wardens arriving early, two on the last night. Break all seven

NO ADS. NO PAYWALLS. JUST SCRATCHING. One purchase, the whole game. The odds don't know what you paid, because there is no second payment to make: no coins to buy, no subscription, no season pass, no timers.

• Plays fully offline • Family Sharing enabled • Game Center achievements and leaderboards • One thumb, portrait, a night finishes on a bus ride • Built for iPhone and iPad by one developer

Scratch the foil, read what you can, and try to leave before the House notices.

Scratchmancer is a work of fiction. No real money changes hands, no real lottery products appear, and the odds in it are invented.

AI Disclosure*

The visual assets originally started as AI-generated images, but most were later redrawn manually. I also used AI for English corrections and to spice up some of the writing to better fit the theme, plus occasional code reviews. The game design and code are mine — a lot of the foundation was reused from my previous apps.
