Virtual DOMination is a competitive quiz game about reading code, not writing it.
A snippet appears. The clock starts. What does it print?
Five languages. Five factions. One map to take.
▸ CHOOSE YOUR LANGUAGE JavaScript, Python, C, C++ and Rust, each with its own question pool, its own progression map and its own faction banner. Main one, or fight in all five.
▸ FOUR WAYS TO GET IT WRONG Multiple choice. Predict the output. Fill in the blank. Order the lines. Every snippet is real, runnable code, and every answer was verified by actually compiling and running it, so the answer key is never somebody's best guess.
▸ SOLO RUNS Fifteen questions, rising difficulty, a countdown on every one. Bank bits and XP, chase a perfect run, push your level.
▸ RANKED DUELS Queue for a real-time 1v1 against another player. Nine questions, one shared countdown, reputation on the line. Climb Swap, Disk, RAM, Cache, Register and Core across a six-week season.
▸ THE PROGRESSION MAP Six clusters per language (Boot Sector, Data Vault, Logic Gates, Subroutines, Deep Structure and Core Breach), each ending in a boss node. Clear a cluster for a badge and a payout, then Overclock it once a week: the entire cluster in a single gauntlet, on a tighter clock, for double rewards.
▸ THE DAILY LADDER One question a day, the same question for everyone, worldwide. Answer fast, keep the streak alive, and climb the one board in the game that nothing in the store can touch.
▸ FACTION WAR Pick a banner and every run pushes your language up the standings, worth double when you fight in your own. A daily contribution cap means factions win on how many people show up, not on who grinds longest. The winning faction carries a bonus into the following week.
▸ TOOLS, NOT SHORTCUTS Take two consumables into a run. Lint flags and removes wrong answers. sleep() freezes the countdown. console.log() prints the expected result outright. try/catch catches a mistake so the run survives it. pass skips a question clean. Upgrade all of them with Fragments earned from play.
▸ ALSO INSIDE Three daily challenges and a weekly chest. A 40-tier season pass with a free track that pays the whole way down. Themes, banners, frames, name effects and victory animations in the locker. Direct challenges against players you've connected with. Global, faction and league leaderboards.
▸ FAIR BY DESIGN Nothing you buy moves a ranking. Purchases multiply what you earn in solo play, never your reputation, never your league placement, never your faction's standing, never a single point on the daily ladder. Those are earned or they are nothing.
Over 3000 questions across five languages, with more added every season.
Free to play. Contains optional in-app purchases.
