Game Description

I started Oddletics after wondering what a sports competition would look like if ordinary people got a turn. Not a realistic sim. Just small events you can have a go at, get better at, and send to a friend.

Three games right now, all in the browser:

Five Spots. 45 seconds of basketball. Pull back to aim, release to shoot. A basket is 2 points, a clean swish is 3.

Dead Centre. 15 seconds of archery. Hold to draw, steady the sight, release.

Pace Sprint. A 10-second race. Alternate left and right and find a rhythm.

Each one has Easy, Normal and Hard, saves your personal best, and gives you a challenge code you can send someone so they play the exact same round. There are daily player and country rankings, plus an Overall medal table across all three games.

No download, no account, no ads. Works on a phone or a desktop.

What's next. I'm rebuilding archery around a first-person view with breathing sway and wind, rebuilding the sprint around starting blocks and cadence, and adding a fourth game: curling, where you flick the stone and then sweep it. All of that came out of feedback on the three that are live.

AI Disclosure*

AI coding assistants were used heavily throughout development, writing and refactoring the game code, the test suite and the backend, and helping debug. I directed the concept, the game design, the visual identity and every product decision, and I review and test what ships. None of the media is AI-generated. The artwork is original vector and canvas drawing written as code. The music and sound effects are an original score synthesised in the browser with the Web Audio API, with no samples, no stock audio and no generated audio. The screenshots and trailer are real gameplay captured from the live build.
