Game Description

Give your walks somewhere to go

Iskrio is a cozy real-world walking and collection game for iOS and Android.

Place a Lamp somewhere you actually walk — your street, a park, or a favourite bench. Every night, small spirits of light from tiny fading worlds appear along nearby paths. Walk up to them, invite them to come with you, and give them a new home in the Underlamp.

Which spirits arrive depends on the ground around you, the season, and the weather. A village works just as well as a capital city.

What makes Iskrio different

  • Real walking rather than passive step counting
  • Creatures shaped by real-world paths and surroundings
  • No streaks, timers, or penalties for taking a break
  • No chat and no advertising
  • Free to play
  • Optional purchases never add spirits to the map — they only make tomorrow’s route more convenient
  • Beta available now on iPhone and Android

The current beta includes the complete core experience: place your Lamp, discover nearby spirits, walk to meet them, and build your collection.

We are especially looking for testers in cities, villages, coastal areas, forests, fields, and mountains. Their feedback will help us improve onboarding, map behaviour, walking distances, and balance before launch.

Future updates are planned to bring stories from every world, gifts beneath the Lamp, shared events, legendary spirits, fusion, restoration of the fading worlds, and entirely new worlds to discover.

Planned release: September 2026

AI Disclosure*

Yes. Iskrio is designed and directed by one person, and built with AI tools for both code and art. The design, the systems, the world and every decision in the game are mine. The implementation was done with AI coding assistants, and the art — 45 creatures and 26 painted backgrounds — was generated from prompts I wrote and iterated on myself. I don't call the art hand-drawn anywhere, and I won't. This workflow is the reason a systems-heavy game of this size exists at all as a solo project.
