The Secrets Project is a free browser exploration game that starts on an almost empty white page. Experiment with what you see, follow the things that respond, and discover a website that gradually becomes a much stranger place.
A small discovery can lead to a joke, a puzzle or an entire game. Fill the page with bouncing DVDs, face an axe-wielding herd of cows, investigate a suspicious red button, or turn your profile into a disco full of bees. Hundreds of secrets connect the quiet moments to the bigger surprises, and shared spaces let you cross paths with other explorers.
The pleasure is in noticing a connection yourself and finding something you had no reason to expect. Notebook doodles, pixel art, clay-style scenes and old-web mischief give each discovery its own character.
Secrets is playable now and still in active development. It runs in your browser, with no download or account required to begin, and is completely free: no ads, subscriptions or real-money purchases.
