About this game
Every politician is lying. Including you.
The Swamp: Summit of Lies is a political satire strategy game about bluffing. Start on the city council of Port Bayou and claw your way to the World Summit. Win the most influence without getting caught. Scheme too hard and you get outed.
How it works
- A new crisis breaks every session: a pothole that ate a bus, a lottery shortfall, a midnight pardon.
- Vote in public. Back the winning side to gain influence.
- Scheme in private. Cut backroom deals, leak dirt, rig the count. Every scheme pays, and every scheme raises suspicion.
- Point the finger. Accuse a rival you think is dirty. Guess wrong and you look paranoid.
Four ways to play
- Career: five races from City Council to the World Summit
- Daily Summit: one game a day, the same for everyone, with a shareable emoji grid
- Party: pass and play with 2 to 6 friends on one phone
- Quick Summit: eight sessions, about ten minutes
Your host is Chairman Chomp, a crowned gator in a split blue-and-red tie who reads every crisis aloud and calls every betrayal. Every party gets roasted equally. All characters are fictional.
