About this game

Stepwars is an independent iOS walking game project created by Nicolas Alauzet. A deliberately started walk uses validated GPS distance to progress across a neighborhood map, with personal missions, an explorer and a camp. It is designed to offer personal progress even when no other players are nearby. The website explains the game, its current rules and how location data is handled, with clearly identified simulator screenshots. The app is currently being tested through internal TestFlight distribution; this description does not announce public App Store availability. The planned launch subscription is EUR 4.99 per month or EUR 39.99 per year, with a three-day trial for eligible new subscribers and automatic renewal unless cancelled. Payment activation is still being verified. The initial communication market is France.

Media provenance:

  • iOS simulator screenshot, 1 October 2026; test position, not a recorded real-world walk.
  • Native cabin verification preview, 5 October 2026; not a claim of a live player session.
