Game Description

Chesspy is a daily logic puzzle built on one rule. Numbered squares are targets. Place rooks, bishops and knights so each number is attacked exactly that many times. A 0 must stay untouched.

There is nothing hidden: you place the pieces yourself, and one piece can fix two numbers and break a third.

How it works

  • 20 boards a day, growing from 3x3 to 6x6. Everyone in the world gets the same boards.
  • 3 hearts. You lose one when a move turns a new number red. Removing and undoing are always free.
  • Finish and see your Top % for the day. Sundays bring a harder S-Rank mission up to 7x7.
  • No chess knowledge needed. A 3-board tutorial shows you everything.

No guessing Every board has exactly one solution, and a solver checks that it can be reached by pure logic. Boards that would need a guess are thrown out. If you are stuck, there is always a deduction left to find.

Battles Race friends on the same 5 boards with a 6-digit code, up to 16 players. Joining is free.

Free, no ads, no account. Play on iPhone or right in your browser. An optional one-time Pro in the iPhone app adds unlimited endless runs, hints, every past day and starting battles.

Made by a solo developer in Korea (studio 037).

Yes. The code was written with help from Claude Code (an AI coding assistant) and some store and marketing text was drafted with AI and then edited by me. The puzzles themselves come from my own generator and solver, not from an AI model.
