The developer

Hi, I'm a freelance video game developer. I've been immersed in the world of RPGs since I was very young, and as I grew up, I realized it was a great medium for exploring a wide range of social issues.

Although the story takes place in a fantasy world, you’ll certainly see parallels with certain aspects of reality. This closeness to reality might be seen as a flaw by some, but it’s also what inspired me to design this RPG.

As for Wholian, the protagonist, their dart-fighting technique may seem a little zany, but it will allow them to develop many useful techniques as the adventure unfolds.

FranckushiMama is 100% free and ad-free so as not to disrupt the gaming experience. This is my first completed project, and I hope to create a second one—a hack-and-slash game—that will also be free to play.

To give you an idea, FranckushiMama took two years of development—working almost seven days a week—and about 1,500 € in investment (for graphics, sound, making the app available on official app stores, printing flyers, etc.).

The game is also available in a PC version that can be played with a controller. However, the PC version is much less up-to-date, particularly the camera system, which is one of the major changes I made to the game. The PC version can be found on the indie gaming platform itch.io

Game System

FranckushiMama is billed as a turn-based RPG, although it’s closer to a real-time RPG because actions during combat are performed once the action gauge is full. The gauge fills up based on a base cooldown, which can be affected by the characters’ bonus skills or the techniques used during combat.

As for Wholian, the protagonist (whose gender you choose at the beginning of the story), their dart-fighting technique may seem a little zany, but it will allow them to develop many useful techniques as the adventure unfolds.

Up to 4 characters can fight at the same time. There are 6 types of basic skills that fighters can use, but only 3 can be assigned to each character. A character’s class is therefore defined by the skills assigned to them. However, each character has a special technique—a sort of Limit Break—called a “trance.” It’s a good idea to choose basic skills that complement each character’s trance.

Heroes gain experience and level up as they fight, as do the legendary creatures that accompany them (the “Slïcts”). These Slïcts can take part in battles and unlock bonus abilities that the characters can use. Most of these bonus abilities are passive and allow players to customize their fighters’ builds.

A blacksmithing system allows players to craft new weapons that will enhance characters' basic attacks and special moves. Some characters also have unique skills (which could be likened to "specialties"), which will be influenced by the level of the weapon they possess.

Battles occur randomly in areas where monsters are present, and you can reduce the frequency of these encounters by activating Vigilant Mode. Whether you're an RPG veteran or a beginner, you can adjust the difficulty at any point in the story, choosing from three levels.

To save your game, you’ll need to turn to the Poring Family—little creatures who are passionate about history, journalism, and science. This means you can’t save just anywhere (which could be one of the game’s drawbacks). You can expect to play between 10 and 20 minutes between save points (for example, when you enter a dungeon). Otherwise, the Poring Family is present in every town.

Why Zero-G is different from your standard game (browser based run on any mobile device): 🌍 Real NASA Data: We don't use procedural noise for our planets. Exploration and landings on the Moon and Mars use actual NASA topographic data. When you land in the Tycho crater, you are navigating the real lunar surface. ⚙️ Hard Sci-Fi Physics: Inspired by the realism of The Expanse, we’ve implemented Relativistic Acceleration (RAC) and a Newtonian flight model. Manual docking at starbases requires real pilot skill (WASD)—there is no "auto-dock" button here. 🏗️ True Persistence: This is a living universe hosted on a dedicated production server. Build modular starbases, found a "Venture" (player corporation) with friends, and stockpile resources. Your creations remain in the universe even when you close your browser. ⚔️ Tactical Combat: Defend your trade routes against hostile alien fleets in real-time multiplayer instances. Manage your ship's "Power Triangle," balancing energy between Shields, Engines, and Weapons. 🛰️ A Community Mission: It’s the year 2264. All pilots work together, donating XP to a global research initiative to unlock Faster-Than-Light (FTL) technology and change the course of human history.

The 9th Knight: Descent of Darkness

The 9th Knight is a challenging dark fantasy roguelite RPG built around replayability, character builds and long-term progression.

Fight through increasingly dangerous enemies and multi-phase bosses, collect and forge powerful equipment, combine active and passive skills, discover strange events and push your character through Story, Hard, Nightmare and extensive endgame modes.

The game is playable now on Android, and I’m looking for testers who enjoy roguelites, RPG progression, loot hunting and challenging games. The game is at the moment in a closed Alpha Testing through Google Playstore and requires an invite.
